This Photographic series explores the one of a kind relationships formed across the breadth of First Landing State Park. First Landing State Park represents a unique geographic location where 5 individual ecosystems interact with each other in a way that is not seen elsewhere. First Landing is home to ecosystems that are at the Southern extent of their range mixing with ecosystems that are at their Northern extent. It is these unique and vibrant interactions of these ecosystems which inspired the journey of this project.

 

This project Features Panoramic and triple exposures that strive to express the vivacious beauty that is present throughout the park. Furthermore the Eco-Panormics and Eco-Exposures, as their name suggests, are highlighting the ways the ecosystems at the park interact with each other. The Eco-Panoramics are created through a series of synthetic double or triple exposures that are then layered and blended together to create a unique and immersive experience. Where as, the triple exposures are created by using an image with wildlife from at the park as a subject to show the integral part that these species play in supporting the various different ecosystems. Overall the synthetic exposures, bring light and color to the hidden interactions that are always happening at First Landing State Park.
