My Name is Thomas Armstrong, I am an Adventure and Landscape photographer who is fascinated by the outdoors and the people who spend time there. I am most inspired by telling the stories of the unique interactions that happen between wildlife, ecosystems, people and activity. Being able to capture the singular moment that these elements interact in ways that capture and tell a story about both the person and their environment.
Bio
Thomas Armstrong is an Adventure photographer who strives to capture the reality that surrounds him and share it with the world no matter what it may be. He attended Syracuse University, studying Architecture, before changing degree paths and transferring to Old Dominion University, where he is finishing his degree in, Photography and Print Media. Growing up in the Adirondacks of Upstate New York, nature, exploration, and travel soon became quick passions that he has strived to follow throughout his life. In all of his works whether seen or unseen his goals remain the same, to share the beauty and complexity as he feels and sees it in the many wonderful adventures that he finds. This being said Thomas’ work generally steers more towards wildlife, wilderness, and the people who spend time there, as he is fascinated by telling these stories of interaction.
